Dick Whitlock's fascination with the human form takes several directions in his sculpture, all in keeping with the toy representations of the human figure in his collection. His work includes Hieronymus Bosch Action Figures, experiments with mechanical figures and bronze circus figures as well as assemblages of found objects as backdrops for the figures.
